I have a passion for learning, new experiences and challenges. Below are some examples of my off-work activities over the years.

Botanical illustration, painting, sketching, doodling…

I enjoy the creative aspects of the visual arts. Some of my work is available to purchase on mobile phone cases and skins. Check out my Nuvango shop.

Cupcakes, cookies, pies, tarts, and ethnic inspired food...

With a background in culinary skills, I still enjoys cooking and baking for friends and family. I love to bake but I also make a mean boeuf bourguignon.

I have recently become a photo enthusiast...

Having caught the travel bug a few years ago, I enjoy taking my camera with me whether it’s on multi-day trips or just along the coast for an afternoon. See my travel photos on Flickr

Enjoying life on the water...

I started sailing in 2005 and have achieved my Canadian Yachting Association designations White Sail III and Basic Cruising.

I volunteered at the Marine Mammal Rescue Centre...

From 2007 – 2011 I helped rescue, rehabilitate and release sick and orphaned marine mammals with the Vancouver Aquarium. My other volunteer work includes volunteering at the Roundhouse Community Centre Pottery Studio, and as a member of the executive of the Burrard Toastmasters Club. Contact me about interesting volunteer opportunities

I have competed in a total of 7 triathlons...

After completing my first sprint distance triathlon in 2007, I went on to complete six more, including two at the Olympic distance.
